Undo the fast boot option in the power setup. Or you can try to run in CMD shutdown/s /t 0. Turn off the computer

Hi. Thanks for that. Don’t know if others have experienced my problem. I bought 2 new chargers from Amazon and when plugged in the mouse pointer glitches and stops. Occasionally some keys have to be pressed a few times for it to work. As soon as I disconnect it he charger it stops. Now that it has happened with 2 separate chargers I’m beginning to believe it’s the surface pro. Any ideas?
Dunno if you solved this issue. Non OEM chargers can cause a grounding issue. If you place your hand on the back of the monitor to ground yourself and use the touchpad, it should work fine. It happened to me until I replaced it with an original charger.
It's not a windows based os, it is windows. It's a straight up windows pc.
They're all software. Especially since it's windows. It's not a mobile platform /os

It runs full x86 windows 10, it can run anything. Your probably thinking of the Surface Pro X which has an arm processor

It seems you should have brought the Surfacebook with Performance base and not the Surface Pro. I think you should have done more research before you brought the Pro

Bought mine used on OfferUp. Got the i5, 8 GB RAM and 256 GB SSD variant with a type cover and Surface pen for $575. Using it for light gaming (Gotham City Impostors, Roblox, Scribble.it, and mugen fighting games) and productivity/Zoom calling at work. Can also do game streaming with Stadia or GeForce Now. Huge upgrade from my Pro 3!
tbh true it’s not for gaming but i use it do all my school work and minecraft bedrock and league of legends run surprisingly smooth

There is a print to pdf option, but i wouldnt recommend it cuz often you get your note content cut off due to page size

Download the Intel graphics center. There's an option in there that does this. I believe it's adaptive power something...

Yes, download Intel Graphics Center. Also, the dimmig that you are noticing it's not the brightness, it is the "CONTRAST" make sure you set auto contrast off, I did it on mine a while ago, I can't remember where I found that setting, just try your best. If this doesn't work, then just cover the sensor right next to the front facing camera with some black tape. It will trick the tablet as being turned off in pitch dark, won't mess with your brightness/ contrast anymore.

I disagree its on a user to user case I love to be able to use Fusion360 on the go and as far as gaming I can use my SP7 on steam fine one the go, yea its not my main rig but its great when Im away and you can pick them up second hand fairly cheap now
Shane not sure I agree with your reasons the Surface is a tablet, not a gaming laptop it's built for mobility, not gaming. You need a machine with a discrete GPU if you really want to game decent AAA Titles. Also lightning port is a USB C port. The USB C port is designed for A USB HUB to add more port and the MS port you can buy a surface dock that will give you 4x USB 3.0 2 Mini Display port Audio out, LAN port and the ability to charge (all be it $175.00). Think you might want to do a bit more research prior to putting a video together.
While this is true, there certainly are much better options all together for a laptop, im not completely hating on it as it was a 5 reasons not to purchase it.

Thanks for the video. Just received my surface pro 7 i5 bundle from cyber week for $899. Added the pen and mouse as well. Love it! It’s my first windows device since 2015. Been with a MacBook Pro. Love the portability of this device. Also the fact it’s a tablet when you need it to be or a full blown pc. Had to find a portable windows for work. Also I do some sketching in my spare time as well as some light gaming and they work great as well. 👍🏻
